This year’s popular Christmas Minis will be using the two new backdrops shown above and are taking place on the following dates. There are 14 slots available on both days to choose from but they sell out quickly!

📍 3rd Hertford Scout Hut, Port Vale, Hertford

The scout hut is easily accessible near the train station in Hertford, and has lots of parking space right outside. Its also easy to get to if you’re nearby in Ware, Cheshunt, Harlow, Stevenage, Hatfield or Welwyn.

What’s Included?

20 Minute Photoshoot

Each session is up to 20 minutes, enough time for us to capture some fun, festive, memorable moments

Christmas Props!

Use a many or as few Christmas props for your photos as you like such as sledges, candy canes and presents

Your choice of 3 Images

After the shoot you’ll receive a gallery of finished, edited images, where you can select 3 images to download. There’s options to buy more, buy prints or a special price to purchase the rest of the gallery

Choice of 2 Backdrops

Choose one or both of the backdrops available (see above for this years backdrops)

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I book a Christmas shoot?

To book a shoot visit the booking page to see the available times. Select a suitable time then fill in your details. All that is payable on booking is a £25 deposit. The rest is payable the week of the shoot or on the day.

Is it just for kids or can grown ups have photos too?

Grown ups can have photos too! The snowy forest backdrop can fit 5 people, the Christmas Fireplace backdrop is slightly smaller but can fit 4 people. Babies should be able to sit up unaided.

What ages are the photos for?

The photoshoot is for toddlers, children and adults. Toddlers/Babies should be able to sit up unaided.

How many people are the shoots for?

The shoots are for up to 5 people. If you have more than that or a larger family please book two back to back sessions in order to fit everyone in.

My child might need extra time or has additional needs, is that ok?

This normally isn’t a problem but, if you can, please message me before booking and I can help advise on the best slots. I always keep the shoots relaxed and fun, and we’ll go at a pace that everyone is happy with.

Can I bring a change of clothes for the different backdrops?

Yes, no problem. There are toilets at the venue you can use to change in. Please be aware that the sessions can not be extended so time to change is within your 20 minute slot.

Can I bring my dog/pet?

Sorry, unfortunately not. Dogs and pets are more than welcome in my family photography packages though – maybe this will be more suitable for you.

Can I buy extra photos?

Yes, of course. Extra photos are £20 each or you can but the whole gallery for only £79.

Can I buy physical prints or other products too?

Yes. From your gallery there are links to purchase prints and other products such as canvases

How long will it be until I get my gallery?

Christmas mini shoots are always very popular but I always aim to have your gallery ready and sent to you within 2 weeks after the shoot. In a lot of cases it is sooner than this.

Who are you?

I’m a photographer based in Ware and shoot families, parties and events. I’m fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I also volunteer with the Scouts and have a full DBS check through them. All these documents can be seen if requested. See here for more info on me!
