Bluebell Mini Shoots in Ware

Nothing says Springtime more than a carpet of woodland bluebells! They create a perfect backdrop for family photos.

A bluebell mini shoot is shorter and cheaper than a full family shoot and therefore gives you the perfect opportunity for quickly updating your family photos.

The flowers are only in bloom for a couple of weeks each year towards the end of April. I'm running 2 days this year in small woodland in Ware, Hertfordshire, and spaces are limited.

Who are the bluebell mini shoot sessions for?

The shoots are for up to 5 people, because of this they are most popular with families - parents/grandparents and children - although they can work really well for just adults too. The wood is small so if you have more than 5 people you may be better off looking my family photography shoots

What should I wear?

They'll be your photos so you can wear whatever you like and are comfortable in! However, the photos will work best if bold patterns and logos are avoided and complimentary colours are used. Some examples of colours that work well with bluebell photos are neutrals and pastel shades such as whites, creams, dusky pinks and shades of blue.

The weather can be tricky at this time of year so if possible bring a few options for footwear as the woods can be a bit muddy in places.

What if the weather is bad on the day?

I keep an eagle eye on the forecast leading up to the shoots! If it's just a bit of light drizzle then we'll go ahead but if it looks like it will be really wet then I will get in touch prior to re-organise to another date. If we're unable to do that before the flowers die back then we can move the shoot to a summer date, or instead offer a gift voucher for a future shoot.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourselves! I'll have selection of props that can be used on the day, such as rugs, stools, stepladder etc.

Can I buy physical prints, products or frames?

Absolutely! You can buy prints, frames, and other products such as canvases direct from your own private gallery once you've received your photos.
