The tree is up, the lights are on and the house looks magical, so why not capture it? I’ll come to you for a relaxed Christmas photoshoot at your home in Ware, with photos in front of your own Christmas tree, in the place your family actually celebrates Christmas.

No travelling, no packing the car and no getting little ones out of the door in the cold. Just cosy, natural photos in your own space, perfect for Christmas cards, gifts for grandparents or simply remembering how Christmas looked this year.

I’m a family photographer based in Ware, and I cover Hertford and the surrounding villages too. Evenings and weekends are available, so we can fit your shoot around work, school and everything else that December brings.

At Home Photoshoot

A relaxed Christmas photoshoot at your home in Ware, Hertford or the surrounding area. Typically up to 30 minutes, but not time limited.

In Front of Your Christmas Tree

Photos with your own tree and decorations, plus the cosiest corners of your home. Pets are welcome, and it’s one family per booking.

Your Choice of 5 Images

After the shoot you’ll receive an online gallery of finished, edited images, where you can choose 5 to download. Extra photos are £20 each, or add the full gallery for just £49 on top. Prints and other products can be ordered from your gallery too.

Gallery Within a Week

Your gallery is ready within a week, giving you plenty of time to get Christmas cards and prints ordered before the big day.

How Your At Home Christmas Photoshoot Works

Get in touch. Send me a message with a few dates and times that might suit, evenings and weekends included, and the area you’re in. We’ll find a slot that works for you.
Secure your session. Fill in the quick contract and pay the £119 fee before your session. There’s no deposit to worry about.
Your shoot. I’ll arrive and set up, have a chat and we’ll take relaxed, festive photos in front of your tree, with plenty of time for the little ones (and any pets) to be themselves.
Choose your favourites. Within a week you’ll receive your online gallery to choose your 5 images, ready for Christmas cards, prints and gifts.

Want to get your home ready? A few easy tips: switch your tree lights on, tidy the space around the tree, and pick cosy outfits, festive jumpers or matching Christmas pyjamas. Don’t worry about a perfect house, I’ll work with the space and light you have.

How much is an at home Christmas photoshoot and what’s included?

The at home Christmas photoshoot is £119. That includes a relaxed shoot at your home, typically up to 30 minutes, and 5 edited digital images of your choice from your online gallery.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No deposit is needed. The full fee is payable upfront before your session.

How long does the session last?

Sessions are typically up to 30 minutes but aren’t time limited, so we can go at a pace that suits everyone, including little ones.

Which areas do you cover?

I’m based in Ware and cover Ware, Hertford and the surrounding area, including Hertford Heath, Hoddesdon, Great Amwell, Stanstead Abbotts, St Margarets, Wareside, Widford, Thundridge, Standon, Puckeridge, Hunsdon, Bayford, Little Berkhamsted and Watton-at-Stone. Can my dog or other pets be in the photos?

Yes, pets are welcome at home shoots. Unfortunately I can’t accommodate them at my Christmas Mini Shoots in Hertford, so an at home shoot is perfect if your pet is part of the family.

How many people can be in the photos?

Each booking is for one family. Group size depends on the space available in your home. It’s typically up to 5 people, but I can accommodate more if space and time permits.

Can I buy extra photos?

Yes. Extra photos are £20 each, or you can add the full gallery for £49 on top of your session fee.

Can I buy prints or use the photos for Christmas cards?

Yes. Prints and other products such as canvases can be ordered from your gallery, and your images are perfect for Christmas cards. Your gallery is ready within a week to leave plenty of time for printing.

How long until I get my gallery?

Who are you?

I’m a family photographer based in Ware and I shoot families, weddings, parties and events. I’m fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability insurance. What if we can’t find a suitable date or time?

I’ll work with you to find what fits for your family. If we can’t find a time that suits, I also offer Christmas Mini Shoots in Hertford which may be a fun alternative.
